Effective Practices Presentations

Introduction

Effective Practices presentations provide a platform for peer learning and sharing  among Employment Networks, State Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies, Workforce agencies (some of which are known as American Job Centers) and other Ticket program partners. These presentations share tested practices, partnerships and business models to improve Social Security beneficiary employment results and long-term employment success.

Moving Ticket Holders Towards Financial Independence Using Financial Capability Strategies

In this training, participants will learn about sound financial capability strategies that enhance employment outcomes and financial independence of Ticket Holders. Participants will also learn about the connection between employment outcomes and financial stability as well as valuable sources for training, technical assistance, and support resources.

Collaboration between ENs and WIPA Projects: Part 1

In Part 1 of this two-part training, participants will learn about the Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) program. Upon completion, participants will be able to identify the mission, goals, and priorities of the WIPA program.
